Without a cellar door or wide distribution we’re always delighted by web orders, no matter how small. Thanks for supporting our small, regional business – we’re very grateful.

We are one of Australia’s only grower-producers of bottle fermented sparkling wine. We make our sparkling wines in the French ‘méthode champenoise’ style, borrowing the winemaking techniques from Champagne : this means we use pinot noir, chardonnay & pinot meunier in various ratios; 100% of our fruit is grown on our own vineyard. We ferment base wines in old oak and re-ferment in bottle. After the second fermentation the wines age on their yeast ‘lees’ from 2.5 – 5 years depending on the wine style. It sounds simple but it’s quite precise – not to mention time consuming & absurdly expensive. But, we wouldn’t have it any other way. The finesse, elegance & character of wines made in this method is worth it.

NV 'Cute Brut' Zero Dosage Sparkling Rose

**NEW RELEASE!** Introducing new ‘Cute Brut’…a silly name for a lovely wine. A non-vintage, zero dosage traditional method sparkling rose, this one ticks all the boxes for casual summertime drinking. A blend of pinot noir, meunier & chardonnay on lees for 30 months, it’s super dry, savoury, floral, light and really quite likeable… [read more]

2013 LDZD Assembly Sparkling

**LAST FEW DOZEN – LIMTED TO 4 BOTTLES PER PERSON** Oouef! Would you look at that posh label…these are the types of things we can get away with when there is only 30 dozen. This is our second Zero Dosage Late Disgorged (ZD LD) release and we think it’s kind of a big deal. It’s the 2013 base, aged for 8 years on lees (hence the ‘late disgorged’), and disgorged without any dosage (ZD) making it super dry… [read more]

Doesn’t the term ‘table wine’ just inspire you beyond belief? Without a more exciting term up my sleeve, table wines are just those without bubbles. Now we’ve got that cleared up, let me try to explain what we’re up to with these fine products….

2019 Chardonnay

**SOLD OUT** A chardonnay for riesling lovers, this wine is a blend of two small parcels, both picked early for maximum freshness and steely acid profile. The result is super citrussy, lemon-tart-esque, lean, aromatic wine totally unburdened by buttery or oak flavours. It is pure, lip-smacking goodness, perfect with creamy cheese, fish & chips or salt-cod croquettes…[read more]

2021 Skinsy Pinot Gris

**SOLD OUT** A blend of three parcels: One on skins for four days, one for nine days and one whole bunch fermented, this is the wilder side of gris – an deeply orange wine full of spice, skinsy complexity and edgy acidity. Importantly though, the pulpy fruit flavours are still in harmony, lending unexpected elegance. Perfect with Manchego, or anything umami rich, like bibimbap with kimchi…[read more]

2021 Pinot Meunier

**LAST FEW DOZEN** Our first go at red pinot meunier, we are frankly quite pleased with ourselves! This is everything you’d hope to see with this variety – light in body with dusty, savory red fruit flavours, fine texture, chiseled acidity and an ethereal x-factor that seems to be synonymous with meunier. Try with prosciutto pizza, Comte cheese or roast pork…[read more]

2021 Pinot Noir / Meunier Blend

**LAST FEW DOZEN** The blend is 50% pinot noir & 50% pinot meunier. Think of pinot meunier as mysterious and sexy; more savoury & more generous than pinot noir, which in this case is a little more upfront & robust. Together, they are harmonious. This is on the lighter end of things, with loads of juicy red pinot flavours (think bramble & wild raspberry) and a plush, charming mouthfeel…[read more]

2021 Baritone Rose

**SOLD OUT** With incredible deep colour, but the soul of a dry rose, we thought the name ‘baritone’ was apte for this lovely wine. Crafted from 100% pinot noir, it was barrel fermented and aged for 11 months on lees, giving it a phenomenal creamy texture and kaleidoscope of fresh red fruit flavours. Try with mild washed-rind cheese, rustic terrine or Chinese roasted duck pancakes…[read more]

2021 Pinot Noir

A classic wine from a classic season, this is the result of countless hours of extra attention in the vineyard, all aimed at increasing the structure and concentration of our pinot noir, which is typically very light. Aged in neutral hogsheads, it is fruit driven but not fruity. Try with herbed lamb racks, chargrilled veg or anything with beetroot, cherries or pomegranate…[read more]

We wrote a book!

Tipsy is a book about great drinks: wine, whisky, gin, beer, sake and the rest. It is short, sharp and it doesn’t treat you like an idiot. It’s a book for anyone who’d like to know what they’re drinking without wading through the details. It’ll help you pick the right wine for dinner, explain the difference between pale ale and pilsner, and maybe even inspire a new passion for whisky, gin or sake.

Each copy is signed by Clare – and if you leave a note in the cart details we can personalise a message for you in the front of the book. Each copy is $25.

On freight pricing...

No one likes a shock at the shopping cart so here are our freight prices. We have been hugely affected by the rise in freight costs in the last year so unfortunately, we now have to pass on some of the cost but have still subsidised as much as possible. If you buy wine from us regularly it’s worth noting that members of The Good Drinks Collective are entitled free delivery on all orders.
